I was wondering if you guys had any ideas or advice to get into this niche.
Currently a senior at a t5 university for IE (in the US), concentrating in semiconductor manufacturing and supply chain. Have an internship at an equipment vendor this summer, but wanna get into semicon consulting because I feel like its a good fit for me as a person.
I want to get into process engineering or yield engineering aligned roles, but I'm always being pigeon-holed into supply chain, operations or cs/DS sort of roles. I have a lot (a lot for an undergrad imo) of research experience in fab processes, and I'm still not able to market myself as a good candidate for those roles. I understand that IE is not a super technical major, but I hoped that my background in research would help me out.
Any advice would be appreciated!
