We purchased this table at a resale shop and came to find out that it is quite a pricey table still available to order from italy. It had a significant scratch in the top and we did not love the color so we stripped it down. The listing on the distributors site (we confirmed via email that it is their table) lists it as solid walnut with inlay. In taking the table apart we can see some of the base are other woods. We would like to stain it a darker brown than the original color but are unsure of the products to use. We are new to refinishing. Thank you for any help we get!
