Should I max out the card with higher cashback if I have more that one card?
Hiya, I've got two cards: Chase Freedom Unlimited (CL:$1500) and RH Gold (CL:$300). RH has a flat 3% cashback and Chase FU has a tier for cashback but mostly it's around 1.5%. Can I just utilize my whole $300 in RH to maximize my cashback and then use the Chase just for dinning or fuel (it's 3% for this category)? Will it affect my credit score negatively (currently it 703)? My monthly avg spend is around 400-600 excluding rent (living in dorms and dad pays it with tuition). I'm fairly new to using credit and still learning, my dad told me to do whatever i want but don't exceed the CL and pay on time but I'm still confused. Any insights are appreciated and thanks in advance!
