Had to manually set the SCG stick as an "external device" on my GF base. Is this normal?
Hi guys. I recently upgraded my Gladiator NXT to a Gunfighter base, but keeping my SCG premium stick. At first it was recognized as modern combat stick which seemed odd. I then updated the firmware to the latest version following the most recent video on the VKB channel and immediately had this issue where the blackbox was recognized just as a "NXT COMBO" on the device list and couldn’t get it to recognized the stick in any way; I was troubleshooting for a bit until I realized I had to manually add the SCG as an external device on the VKB Config software and that fixed it.
Is this normal? Shouldn’t the software just recognize the GF+SCG combo right away?
