Just wondering on people's experiences with both? Quality of build and range, charging expectations? Current model Seal Premium and 2025 Zeekr X this would be.
Of course very different cars, Seal is a sedan and Zeekr X is a compact SUV, but I'm flexible on size. Like the XPeng G6 also, for example.
Test drove the Byd Seal and really liked it, will test drive the 2025 Zeekr X within the next few days. Have driven a Zeekr 7X however and loved it, but too pricey for the model we want most likely. Will test drive the Sealion 7 soon also but might not need the extra size compared to the Seal.
Was thinking to get the Seal, then saw the deal being offered on the 2026 Zeekr X until the end of May - discounted price on more powerful and quieter car, no extra charge for different colors, free 7kW home charger, extra 2 years warranty. Can order before end of May, 2k deposit, demos will arrive halfway through June apparently, then if I don't like the test drive, can get 2k refund and cancel order.
There is a new Seal on the way too with nearly 1ft extra length and extra 85L boot space, but no word on when it will arrive in Aus.
Such a good deal on the X is making me reconsider. 2025 Zeekr X test drive will reveal a lot, but just like to gather opinions from owners also at the same time. Thanks.
