Hi,

I am working on my 2013 S4 B8.5 with DSG (code PWW). There appears to be a leak on the front left differential output flange seal.

Oil leak

I assume that I need a new seal but the service manual says:
Step 1/ Gearbox is secured to engine and gearbox support

This implies that I need to remove the gearbox out of the car. Has anyone done this without removing the gearbox?
