I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500, 5.7l hemi v8, 150k miles, automatic. It stalls at stops, no check engine light (at least for this, it has a reoccurring small evap leak code that keeps turning it on. Changed my gas cap, changed the evap sensor, still comes on. Kinda gave up on that since it says it doesn’t cause any issues driving, and I didn’t know if it would be connected to this issue.), cranks just fine afterwards and drives normally afterwards. Was also happening sometimes when I let it idle for 5 minutes in the winter time, went to go out and drive it/ leave and it would stall. Same situation, turned off, back on, drove just fine. But this stalling when stopping started happening more recently. It’s also happened a few times when I’m switching between drive and reverse. I cleaned the throttle body, rpms also haven’t been showing for months but I don’t know if that’s something in the cluster or something else, unsure if it’s related or not since I noticed it stopped working a few months before this stalling. Load test has been done and alternator and battery are good. What’s next?
