Mace is generally seen as one of the best (maybe the best) duelist that the Jedi Order has produced. Kirak was one of Vader's earliest victims but only lost his duel to Vader because he tried to trade his life in exchange for Vader promising not to drown a nearby town...of course Vader killed him and proceeded to drown the city.

Kirak was able to outduel Vader, understand his fighting style, the intention behind his attacks, and break Vader's force grip on him. He was someone who isolated himself from the Jedi and dedicated himself to fighting.

Who wins if these two revered duelists clashed?

Could've changed their lives if they had any sense between them and realized that the hospital was negligent and directly at fault for Ashley losing her ovary. I'm sure a good lawyer could've argued that they should be compensated for future IVF procedures, pain and suffering, and mental anguish and could've won.

The ER doctor that initially saw them, the two nurses that triaged patients in the ER and assumed that they were trying to get drugs and dismissed the "ovarian torsion" claim as something the couple heard on Reddit/WebMD, the radiologist that read the ultrasound, and to a lesser degree the ultrasound tech would've all been named as parties at fault and likely could've gotten them a few hundred grand, maybe a low six figure settlement from the hospital.

I've worked in a hospital and have seen firsthand management attempt to shift blame when a patient dies in their care. While no one died here, it was a failure of care at multiple points. I've also seen management push other people's appointments to fit in athletes and people related to doctors and high ranking people in the hospital. So triaging goes out the window but outpatients and inpatients don't really see this happening behind the scenes.

I think the doctor visiting Ashley and Austin the morning after the surgery was due to Josh's call but I think the hospital also knew it fucked up and had the underlying motive of trying to smooth things over. When the doctor realized that these kids didn't blame them at all and were in a rush to leave, he was relieved.

Ashley's fixation on blaming Josh literally cost her potentially millions, or a life-changing amount of money. Sorry, this thing has stuck with me since finishing the show last night.
