I’m moving out soon and i can’t stop thinking about my deposit getting messed with. i’ve been careful the whole time i lived here because i kept hearing stories about people losing money over random stuff. i even went over the place twice cleaning it more than i probably needed to. still i keep feeling like i missed something small that will somehow cost me a chunk of it. the landlord here is pretty strict and not super friendly so i don’t feel confident just trusting it will be fair. i took photos of everything but it still doesn’t fully calm me down. it’s weird how stressful this part is even when you do everything right. i just don’t know what usually actually gets deducted and what is just normal wear they can’t charge for
