Can't find any info or patch notes, why did I skyrocket to lvl 30 cat

I was lvl 26 2 days ago, yesterday i skipped the day cause I wanted to do my dailies in the last hours but got punished by the unexpected maintenance, now I login again and somehow cat is 30??? What did they change? Anything else I should be checking?
