I've broken my iPad... Which model would you recommend for drawing?
I've just dropped my loyal iPad onto my saucepan. The screen has cracked. I use it every day, especially for work. I don’t know which model to replace it with, can you help me?
I mainly use it for writing on the go, watching videos anywhere in the house, as well as for reading and drawing. I’d also like to be able to play games on it and have a good battery life and 512GB of storage.
It’s a 2nd-generation iPad Pro (11-inch), bought in 2020. I was recommended the Pro version because it’s more ‘precise for drawing’. I think it’s because of the laminated screen (but I’m not sure). Should I always go for the Pro version?
Additional questions:
- Do you think it’s possible to get the screen repaired?
- I really like the nano-textured screen on my MacBook. I always put a matte, paper-effect filter on my tablet – is it worth it on an iPad? I’ve heard it’s disappointing.
Thank in advance!
