Should I change my grandfathered AT&T plan?
I’ve been on AT&T prepaid for a few years now. Tried mint mobile once and the service was awful in my area, so a bit hesitant to go off of the big networks for now.
But I’ve been on the cheapest 5gb plan for a while and all the set data plans are replaced with unlimited. I really don’t want to pay the $2 more for ‘unlimited saver’ as the data speeds seem like garbage. There is the 12 month prepaid $300 deal that doesn’t specify speed but instead the 16gb high speed cap.
For what it’s worth, I’m on WiFi enough where I really don’t need a ton of data, but there are a couple odd months in the year where I might need to top off. Curious to hear other perspectives.
Additionally, I was a Verizon contract customer growing up and my wife still has them, so service in my area is comparable with their network.
