UPDATE: Quickflick TV

I really appreciate all of your advice and concerns!

I finally spoke to the founder of the app. He’s a long-time working actor, Whoopi Goldberg is the company’s evangelist, and I believe it’s totally legit. Obviously, 150k views and an 80% “Produce” rating is hard to achieve on an unknown app, but the reason I hadn’t heard of it is they’re still in beta. So who knows, maybe it’ll blow up!

Anyway, I recommend it to anyone with an indie TV pilot! Even a small chance getting funding for a full season seems worth the effort to me.

Indie TV People, Ever Heard of Quickflick TV?

The site says it’s an app where you upload a pilot, the audience votes on it, and the company will apparently fund a full season if it gets enough views and votes. Just posted my own pilot on there, and I’m curious is anyone else has experience with it.

FYI: I believe the pilots have to go through some kind of a review process before they’re accepted.
