I’m making this post as an update to my previous one about a failed kamikaze attempt.

I recently tried to repair it. I had damaged two traces labeled “15V 0.2A”, and I managed to reconnect both of them properly. After the repair, I was getting “15V 0.4A”. I also have correct diode readings on both sides.

However, the console still doesn’t boot. It’s stuck in RCM mode, so I connected it to my PC, and it’s detected as APX.

The next day, it went up to 15V 0.6A.

Rcmd resistor is still at 4.7kΩ.

I also tried installing an Instinct V6S chip, and I’m getting LED codes: red, white, red, yellow, red, magenta, then solid white. All my measurement points seem correct.

Is it possible to get out of RCM mode, or is it bricked?

I was also thinking about trying an eMMC reflow.

Could someone help me understand the LED codes of the Instinct chip? I tried searching but only found a GIF, nothing really detailed.
