Everyone is telling me I’m dumb for committing.

So I committed to Stevens I visited the campus and liked it much better than my other options committed that same day I got very generous aid coming out to around 14k per year (commuter) but everyone is telling me the school is stupid especially for my major (finance) I was also told the people are kinda weird and ill prob not make any friends and I was told the schools graduate employment rate is a lie.

I know this sounds a bit dumb but I really don’t know if I care to use my degree I want to be in real estate in the future but I want a education and a degree to just have and a good college experience so I don’t know if that helps if I should or should not go.

So basically my two questions are is it worth it for my situation and will I make friends or is everyone really weird and Akward as they say.

all advice is appreciated !

I have a MacBook Pro I got for my birthday and it’s not on the list of devices, is it really that serious that I need to get the thinkpad?
