Is listening to rap music haram?

Hey, I’m trying to get into anime but I only have US Netflix. Can anyone recommend some short, beginner-friendly anime that are really good and easy to get into? I’m open to different genres, but I’d prefer something not too long.

I’m interested in exploring the genre of R&B. Could you recommend some modern R&B albums and classic R&B albums that I should start with?

I’m looking for recommendations for older TV shows available on Netflix (U.S.) that are similar to Dawson’s Creek and Gossip Girl.
