[Hated Trope] Magical nano technology suits

My main examples are Iron Man from Avengers: Infinity War and Supergirl Season 5, Episode 1.

These suits that materialize out of thin air under the premise of “nanotechnology” are fun CG but they are bad. It’s such terrible writing. If these characters need suits, not wearing them is part of what makes the scenarios interesting.

When iron man’s suit simply materializes from thin air, it’s taking away a major issue for Tony Stark. He can’t be ready to go at all times if he needs a high tech, huge and complicated suit of armour.

When Super Girl takes off her glasses and her super suit just creates itself on top of her current outfit and she’s ready to go, it’s lame as hell.

Superman needed to go to a phone booth or a back alley and take off his glasses and suit to reveal his uniform. It was iconic. He couldn’t just do stuff as Clark Kent without giving away his secret identity. It made situations tense, it gave them stakes.

A “nanotechnology” suit that magically appeared when he took off his glasses would have been lame.

I get understand that marvel and dc want to make magic sound like high tech, but tossing every cockamamie idea under the umbrella of “nanotechnology” is just lazy.

I know it’s just the supermarket parking lot, but 4 spaces is just unacceptable

If you can’t park properly inside the space, maybe you shouldn’t have a car that size.

I’ve had other handhelds in the past, like a Game Boy, a 3DS XL, the original Switch (what I have now is the OLED), Miyoo Mini Plus, and an Anbernic RG 35XX SP, but I’ve had to trade in some to get the next.

I love my Switch 2, but playing on the DSi XL and the N3DS XL still feels the best.
