I researched and researched the advantages and benefits of Roon, yet still can't see why I need it if I'm not interested in creating a library of my music collection. I have zero interest in burning my thousands of CDs onto a hard drive just for the convenience of listening via Roon's server. Plus, that's another high ticket expense on top of the monthly Roon subscription. I already subscribe to Tidal, Spotify and Amazon Music, which all allow me to built playlists and collections. So what does a Roon subscription offer besides expanded info about the artist and album credits?

I've been enjoying my A10 for several months with no issues, but a couple of days ago when I went to wake it from sleep mode, I found it wouldn't power up at all. 100% unresponsive. I tried all possible solutions: checked the power cord connections, checked the power cord (swapped out several), checked out the wall outlet, checked out the fuse, unplugged the power cord from both the wall and unit, allowing the capacitors to reset...but nothing fixed the problem. All firmware updates have been successful, so I can only deduce the problem lies with the PSU failing. I know this a common problem with other Eversolo models, so maybe, the A10, as well.
Any other possible troubleshooting tips would be appreciated. Right now, it's looking like I'm going to have to return the unit for repair.
I'll be staying at the Fairmont Kea Lani in mid-May with my wife an 22-year old daughter. Everyone says we must take in the Haleakala sunrise, but I've also been told reservations sell out at least two months before a given date, and some consider it not worth getting up at 2:00 AM to see. Instead, those folks say the sunset is equally gorgeous, much less hassle, and requires no reservation. There's also the cost of at least $250/person to use a tour service to see the sunrise.
So, for those who have done one or the other, or better yet, both--what do you recommend? And, if we use a tour service, who do you recommend?
