I have an idea for a new rating system and I'm looking for suggestions
I've never been a super fan of the 1-10, 1-100, or 5 start system. I recently toyed with the idea of a granular system where you can rate, acting, story, writing, etc. and the average would be you're overall score. People didn't like this either. (i thought it was a good idea but i guess its just too much to think about. So i just had an idea for a system that's different, fun and more user friendly.
What if...There were a handful of preselected short phrases to choose from that are common ways people would describe your thoughts. Reviewers click all that apply.
Then, the rating is a bar graph of the phrases people picked the most .
Phrase idea examples: Perfect, Breath of Fresh Air, Hidden Gem, Worth the Watch, Not the Worst, Could've Been Better, Could've Been Worse, Exceeded expectations, Let Down, But Why.
Is that something you'd mess with? Am I onto something? What phrases would you want to see there
