So I have accommodation for Exams. The first exam I took I was placed in a room alone with the professor outside the door. Yesterday I had a second exam where I was placed in a class room with other students (THIS WAS NOT THE ISSUE). The issue is another student that was text read every single question and answer aloud! This was very distracting. I complained to the professor when said to put in my ear plugs, but this did help. The other students made noise every time and the professor would look my way and look away quickly.
My second issue is I think this may have caused me score as lower due to the distraction.
Unfortunately grades are not released until 5/4. I have contacted the dean regarding the incident to make her aware.
Do you think the school will allow me to retake the exam if my grade is low? I know I will have to challenge it with school. What are my chances of being she to retest?
I do need to add we were taking different exams.
