I've a Hyundai 2.4kW chainsaw that used to run great but I screwed around with it and now it isn't running properly. The symptoms are it idles but dies when I open the throttle and it wont idle when warm. I can do a trick to get it going where I pull the choke, start it and immediately fully open the throttle and it will run like crazy for as long as I'm holding the throttle open.
I screwed around with it because the fuel tank was leaking all over the place. I took apart the carburettor and put it back together again. I backed out the piston head screws and drove them back in again without removing the piston head. Mostly that, I'll be doing a bit more screwing around with it next sunny day to hopefully fix it but thought I'd ask if any of you nerds know what might be wrong in the mean time.
