Hi community,

I run a recruitment business based in Scotland and because I speak German I have always focused on the German Market.

Since working in 2021, I have always simply used a UK number, but Germans increasingly complain about scam calls coming from the UK with +44 numbers.

My question: do any of you have experience obtaining a commercial German phone number without a physical office or registered company in Germany?

I have looked at companies that offer virtual addresses in Germany, but most of them seem dodgy and I don't trust taking the risk with one of them. From what I understand, I could register with the handelskammer after obtaining an address, is that correct?

Any suggestions or recommendations welcome :)
