I need your collective wisdom.

I had an autograph and inscription added to a Topps card by the player in question. Unfortunately, it was later discovered that he needs two signatures. Because he's so young and this is only his first official Topps card with an autograph, Topps probably only recognizes this one signature. This one is likely intended for mass production, while the other is meant to be acquired over time. My questions are:

a) Should I still have the card with the autograph appraised?

b) Can I have just the card appraised? If so, will there be a deduction for the added autograph, which can't be attributed to the original player?

There are older autographed cards where you could check his older signature, but are such things used as evidence? I doubt it.

How would you proceed?

Thanks everyone.
