Recently I started learning more about the taiwanese political institutions and the concept of confucian liberal democracy. Both the Examination Yuan and the Control Yuan seem great ideas to me.
Coming from a country in which corruption is kind of a big deal, it would be a breeze to have control and examination entities that are actually independent from the government or any other state power at that. The question is, how does Taiwan (the political system, the people, etc) keep the Examination Yuan uncorrupted or isolated from any party influence?
