Double exit hole, wtf happened
I got the second lobe exactly one YEAR ago, it has been causing troubles for the past like 3 months.
At first it was just sore sometimes, later a kind of wetting bump developed which scabbed multiple times
Now that scabbing and occasional surface puss stopped I decided to put a stud in
I removed the hoop to find out that the area around the piercings is super hard when I touch it.
I put in the stud it hurts a little which I expected, (didn’t hurt as much as putting in my 7 month old 3rd lobe)
I check from the back to find out the stud exited from a different place than the hoop previously did.
To make sure I’m not crazy I put each in again… And sure enough I in fact now have 2 exit holes 😭
I’ve been using saline spray religiously especially in the first few months, later switched up to sometimes saline sometimes water, after it started causing problems went back to saline and occasional alcohol pad. It’s crazy to me that neither second or third lobe still aren’t healed even though one is a year old and second one 7 months 😭😭.
I also have a one year old conch I got at the same time as the second lobe and that one is also acting up 🥲 not as much but a small bump and swelling and little occasional puss.
PS: I’m 95% sure the bottom hole is the original one
