Daisy isn't Holly

i just heard they confirmed Daisy isn't Holly and I'm so disappointed. If you care that much about timelines, how would daisy be a baby when she was rescued by mayday if Hannah was 5 when the USA fell? Mayday wouldn't exist yet? so by that logic they wouldn't be the same age either, and why didn't Nichole age in the show, she was a baby for years. Hannah would be way older than she is now and so would Holly. So if we are playing fast and loose with timelines and throwing them out the window for certain details, why not keep the heart and soul of the story intact and make them sisters? make Hannah a few years older than daisy because hormones are weird and i think less people will care about suspending disbelief a little bit, especially not as much as they will care about the story being ruined. i just found out today that she isn't Holly, and it has almost ruined the show for me completely, I have been watching the show thinking these sisters found each other and it has made it so much more impactful, it only took me one hour to get over the clear timeline issues, I can justify it by making daisy 14, and Agnes 17 but idk if i can come back from this bombshell. I see a lot of people on Reddit furious about it too. They casted a person who looks exactly like June who is supposed to be her daughter, have her crying telling the story of her being smuggled out, acting motherly they show the rebellious parallels and drive for revenge, have the audacity to make someone say "June already has one horse in the race" eluding to her being the other horse/daughter and then they switch it up like that? it's not right and it's a bad choice that isn't impossible to turn around if the next few episodes don't ruin it completely. Do the right thing and Make Daisy Holly again!!!!

What do you guys think? could you get over it since the timeline makes no sense and they've never cared about being consistent or is it too hard to justify it? I'm usually a stickler for plot holes like that but in this case i feel like it just should have been handmaids tale 2: rescuing hannah if they were going to change the story this drastically

Edit: I know they don’t meet until she’s an aunt in training, but they specifically made it seem like they changed her characters origin because of the time discrepancies and this is the same character we are following in some loose interpretation of the book. But I hope they’re just being sneaky and she comes in later in the story! I don’t think they could find someone better to cast as June’s daughter though, so that’s a shame!
