So I played a lot of stw back around season 2 or 3 of Fortnite, I mainly played stw so I didn’t even get the John wick skin :( anyways I used to play on ps4 and just redownloaded Fortnite to play stw on pc, and I’m reworking my survivors.

So I’m PL 133 basically 134, all my leads are mythic and 60/60, I have Joel and Karolina which iirc are the only mythic subordinates, Joel luckily got trap durability but karolina got shield regen.

As you can see all my survivors have max matching abilities except my engineers.

Here’s where the questions come, so from what I recall to get highest power level you need to have all survivors with a matching bonus, but idk if that’s actually true.

So my questions are:

1: Do matching bonuses actually give more power level?

2: How do the matching bonuses give more power level if they do, and what I mean is, will I get more PL based on how many survivors have a matching bonus or for how many matches I make?

3: is there any way to get another karolina with trap durability bonus or change hers?

4: If I care both about PL and good bonuses, should I go for 4 trap durability bonus and 1 trap dmg bonus per squad or 6 trap durability bonus and 1 random per squad? The benefit I see to 6 dues and 1 random is karolina would fit well into that as I could make the other 6 trap dura.

5:How is PL calculated? Would I get more PL if I mixed different bonuses rather than just going all trap bonuses?

Ultimately the trap dmg bonus doesn’t do nearly as much for me as durability so I’m hoping that I get the exact same amount of PL from 6 trap dura and 1 random as I do from 4 trap dura and 3 trap dmg.

I’m going to probably scrap around 500 legendary survivors that have bad bonuses soon but wanna know if there’s any reason I shouldn’t scrap some survivors/heroes/schematics other than collection book

Also ik there’s gotta hopefully be lots of new things that have been added or changed in the last few years, haven’t played since a ventures were added, played them for a couple cycles, enough to max all leads minus 1 and stopped. Pls lmk about any new or different things I would appreciate any info as I don’t want to ruin my progress from back then.

I know ppl like magazines and ppl like lbd, I loved lbd but have gotten used to mags. I just started watching Jawoodles max realism series, bc I saw it on another Reddit post, and idk how it works on there, but I was driving and thought about it for a few mins.

I think it would be more realistic if you had to find schematics rather than magazines, and the schematic would unlock a whole tier or group of items, just like they’re grouped into sections when u look in the crafting skills, a schematic would unlock the whole section then you would craft anything from that section to either lvl that item or the whole section to higher lvls. And schematics could either be a schematic for a specific section, or a general schematic that unlocks a random section but in order, and any section that isn’t unlocked so no wasted schematics. Alternatively it could unlock a random craftable item from a random area and rather than skills boosting certain magazine drop rates they boost the odds of the schematic unlocking a recipe from a certain skill. Still unlocked in order. Another option would be using multiple schematics instead of 1 to be able to pick what skill u learn the next recipe from likely implemented by crafting some schematics and an item from that skill together to make a specific schematic.

Still making higher levels of those items would be doable by either using the item or crafting it. For things you can’t use like batteries and such, you could level them by maybe salvaging for more or scrapping/repairing them as you are learning how to take them apart and put them together. Idk this is basically a rough draft of a rough idea for a new system I’ll probably either forget about this or try and improve on it

Yesterday I started playing the game again, but for the first time I’m using mods, dragged all the mods I wanted into the mod folder. But rn I’m thinking, what if someone with no mods wants to join me or if I want to join them? I’m sure that could cause issues or crash games, is there any easy way to toggle mods on or off if I’m joining someone’s vanilla world? Only thing that comes to my mind is making a separate folder and dragging all my mods between that folder and the 7dtd mod folder each time but idk if that would also cause issues somewhere and seems like a hassle. Ty for any info/tips
