NIV or NET Bible

NIV or NET Bible

Hey all I'm having a hard time choosing between these two translations. I like both of them and honestly would prefer the NET Bible but I have some problems.

I like both as I said but I find the NET to be my preferred, but it's less accessable. What I mean is there are very limited physical copies to choose from and this leaves you paying more money for something you basically just have to be content with. Or, read it on a device, which can work sometimes, but I would say I prefer physical copies 75 percent of the time if I had to choose. Also, the NET audio Bible I find for free is the old NET before the update. Which is unfortunate as I listen to the scripture a lot.

The NIV on the other hand I also like and is close to the NET. I haven't spent much time in the NIV but I do like what I've read so far and the two are very similar. The NIV has a great app, Lots of study options, trustworthy scholarship, great audio options for free, HOWEVER if I choose the NIV primarily, I don't like it as a translation as much as the NET, I won't get the notes, but I'll have more available content and Bibles to choose from.

Which should I choose?

(P.S. I think people underrate the NET as a translation. I really enjoy it, I think it makes unique, accurate, scholarly choices sometimes and I love Dan Wallace as the NT overseer.

I was wondering if any NASB lovers have switched to using the LSB full time? I'm interested in it but cautious with the word YAHWEH being used, can I get some reassurance? Should I make the switch is it that much better? I don't like the way 2 Timothy 3 16 is translated in the NASB and I find the LSB fixes it. What do y'all think what are some recommendations? And why do you like it and the NASB?
