I had a really mixed experience a few years ago to Kol-Fest on my trip to KG in 2022.

My yurt was nice and there were a lot of different stalls and art.

I had a big problem with misinformation regarding my choice of wearing a chapan (which the Instagram account holder said would be okay to wear but the organiser Chingiz caused a big fuss about and banned anyone who wore a chapan at the festival).

I'm just wondering if they're more organised now not sure if I'll ever go back but that was a big disappointment for my time in KG considering it was a highly recommended event.
