Octavia 2018, 2.0 tdi 150hp, DSG. I live in the central Europe, so the fall is quite warm and humid and the spring is the same, winter is cold and dry.
It started doing this last year in the fall, it did this a couple of times, and then it just stopped and was ok during the winter. Now it started doing this again yesterday (its warmer again, humidity around 50%) . The problem is, that it starts doing this a couple of hours after it is turned off, so the motor is already cooled off, and not immediately after it is shut down. And it completely empties the battery.
I need to charge the battery first, then im taking it straight to car electrician. It would just be more helpful to know, what kind of a fault are we looking for.
Has anyone had any similar problems, and how did you fix it? Thanks for any help.
