I'm thinking to purchase a used Honda CB125F imported from Germany and I want to verify the VIN before committing.

VIN: ZDLJC84A0MF008549

A few things I noticed:

• The VIN starts with ZDL which I believe is Honda Europe/Italy, not the usual ML8 (Honda India) Decoding the VIN suggests model year 2021 (M = 2021), but the seller is listing it as a 2022
• The bike was registered in Germany. The VIN area looks a bit odd - there seems to be some kind of coating or primer around it, but it doesn't look like it's been ground down or tampered with. Could just be factory paint/coating but wanted to flag i
• Is this VIN format normal for European-market CB125F? Could the discrepancy between model year 2021 and registration year 2022 be normal (e.g. manufactured late 2021, registered in 2022)?
