Hello!
Me and my girlfriend have recently moved to Portland Oregon after our lease at a Greystar management property (specifically behind the Vancouver mall) had ended officially on April 3. As of today 30+ days later I have yet to receive my deposit or an itemized list back.
I sent an email last week where I was told they would connect with their accounting department and they would contact me as soon as they heard back. What should be my next steps from here? I understand according to Washington law they had 30 days to give me the deposit or any information but since they failed to do that I am entitled to the full deposit to be returned and even eligible to take them to small claims court.
I am hoping someone in the area has had a similar experience and would like to know any tips. And yes, I did make sure that my forwarding address was correct!
