What happens if I don't give LL proof of insurance?

My LL are a POS corporation and are even using this as an opportunity to upsell some other insurance company.

It's weird, as I've been here over 5 years, showed it to them when I moved, never had to show it again. Suddenly they are asking again.

I think it's them trying to squeeze people to buy the insurance they advertise stapled to the paper.

I just find it predatory, and very much in line with their MO.

Yes, I believe it's in my lease.

Yes, I have insurance, always had it. I just don't want to give them proof.

Yes, it's a little petty, I know. I realize I probably will have to provide it at some point, but want to waste their time a bit. They deserve it, I promise.

I'm just curious what happens if I don't provide this proof to them?

Can magnesium keep me up instead of helping me sleep?

Typically, with just my melatonin, I'll be feeling sleepy after about 1 hour. I tried magnesium for the first time last night, together with the melatonin, and I was awake basically the whole night. Not wired like I would be from coffee, I just felt like sleep wasn't happening.

Half the night I couldn't tell if I was sleeping or awake, I remember thinking about not being asleep, but also very relaxed. Got up to pee several times (unusual). I fell asleep at some point for a bit, but the quality felt very bad.

That said, I did feel the muscle relaxation so I am not sure if it's doing its thing.

Is this normal? Should I keep trying? Take more? Less? Take it at a different time?

If it matters, the bottle I got is the "Webber Naturals Magnesium Bisglycinate 200 mg". On the front it says Elemental Magnesium, and on the back, the label says:

>Magnesium [Buffered magnesium bisglycinate (bisglycinate, oxide)] 200mg

Thank you all for your help 🙂

Hey people,

Can magnesium keep you up instead of helping you sleep?

I tried adding magnesium to my melatonin for the first time last night.

Been taking melatonin for many years due to sleep problems (I believe it's N24 but never got diagnosed), plus years of shift work.

I wanted to help my sleep be more restful, as I noticed it wasn't lately. I would sleep but still feel tired in the morning, and it has been over 2 months so I knew a change is needed.

Typically, with just melatonin I'll be feeling sleepy after about 1 hour. I took one capsule of the magnesium last night together with it.

I was awake basically the whole night. Not wired like I would be from coffee, I just felt like sleep wasn't happening.

Half the night I couldn't tell if I was sleeping or awake, as I could remember myself thinking about not sleeping, but also very relaxed. Got up to pee several times (unusual).

I fell asleep at some point for a bit, but the quality felt very bad.

That said, the muscle relaxation felt great (I have tightness in my muscles often, and I've been working on this with a physical therapist for years). It seems to have lasted through the morning, which is great.

Is this normal? Should I keep trying? Take more? Less? Take it at a different time?

The bottle I got is the "Webber Naturals Magnesium Bisglycinate 200 mg" (can't link it here so just pasting what it says):

On the front it says "elemental magnesium,"

On the back the label says:

> Magnesium > [Buffered magnesium bisglycinate > (bisglycinate, oxide)]......................... 200mg

Is it actually 200mg elemental? Does the other stuff mean it's not pure bisglycinate?

Thank you all for your help 🙂

We've had a reactive pupper who we lost last summer (illness).

We've learned a lot from our friend over the years, and we are still learning.

We have been preparing to bring another friend into our home, having searched for a reputable breeder, and we will likely be getting one next year.

In any case, my point for this post is that I'm worried we won't be able to provide proper pup-on-pup 'socialization', outside maybe the puppy school. I've seen mixed sources on this, and wondering what do y'all think?

First, we don't really know many other dog owners, and even the ones we know are a little concerning.

Dog parks are absolutely abhorrent, as we all know, and we will be renting private ones to let the pup run freely-ish. But it will be just us.

I've also learned to spot red flags super quickly at this point, mostly from spending all these years with a dog-reactive girl. I learned to spot her signs, and then how to read the streets ahead. The number of red flags I see just walking down a regular street here is staggering.

I feel like my city is extra special in terms of dog owners. I've seen frail old ladies walking 100lb bullies, and I mean no disrespect to the elderly but we all know if that dog wants to take off, she's not stopping him.

In fact, a neighbour in this exact situation had a bully that mauled two small breeds a couple of years back. I am not saying one dog was at fault or whatever; I wasn't there. But the lady was in no shape to stop her massive dog.

I've seen people walking these and other breeds off-leash in the middle of the street. I've met a person with 9(!!!) dogs who walks them ALL off leash. Yes, at the same time. Because they are "good dogs".

I don't care how good your dog is, I don't trust you. Especially when you walk them all off-leash on a public road.

I've seen dogs get reactive super quickly. I have seen and heard of dogs being chased by off leash dogs, on-leash dogs, what have ya.

Maybe I've become biased, or just hypervigilant? I can't imagine placing my friend in this scenario. So I don't see myself being one of those that lets the pup "say hi" to other dogs. I automatically walk to the other side of the road, or get them to sit tight and wait for the pup to pass. I can reinforce attention on me, or try to train for socialization (get them desensitized to seeing other dogs so that it's no longer novel).

But I am concerned that we will be doing a disservice, or that it's not enough, for pups to not interact with other pups? Even worse, I'm concerned that I might be inadvertently training them to fear other dogs.

I've found this sub to be the most down to earth and real in the dog spaces, so hoping to hear some of your thoughts. Thanks everyone !
