I am looking to get back into photography after a while away. I just shoot casually and wont be doing any professional work. Mostly family/vacation stuff with maybe a car show or botanical garden thrown in here and there. Also want to try my hand shooting wildlife.
I think I am going to pick up the RP. I have owned one before and really enjoyed it. For the price they're at now (under 600 bucks) it seems like a no brainer. I will pair this (initially) with the RF 50mm f1.8 and the RF 100-400 f5.6-8.
This setup seems like it would do everything I want, but since there are so many new models I want to make sure I am not missing out on features I would find useful. Is there anything on a camera like the r10 that would make it worth spending around 350 more dollars on that body? The only things I've found in my research is the shooting speed which shouldn't affect me much since I am not doing sports or anything. Also wont be recording much video so that nasty 4K crop on the RP wont bother me. Thoughts?
