I deleted my previous post, because the way I phrased what I was looking for wasn’t practical and ended up creating confusion.

I'm not looking for something that just smells “good.” There are already endless perfumes like that. Basically almost any perfume smells good to me...

I’m looking for something extremely unique, unconventional, intense, and mythic-godly-supernatural in vibe, even if it’s polarizing and not conventionally likable.

The notes don’t really matter. It can go in any direction. I just want to avoid anything that smells classy, vintage, powdery, like old cosmetics etc...

(Even something more churchy, sacred, eerie, mysterious is welcome).

Basically I want a fragrance that feels like a real statement, something that builds a character, not just a nice scent.

I’m asking people who have gone really deep into fragrances, because this feels like the kind of thing you only come across after a lot of searching.

I’m looking for fragrance recommendations that go way beyond “smells good.”

I want something so unique that, in an average everyday setting, 99% of people have probably never smelled anything like it before.

What I’m after is not just niche, expensive, or “interesting.” I want something that feels:

● addictive/intoxicating

● beautiful, but in an overwhelming way

● capable of causing real shock, awe, sensory overload

● the kind of scent that makes someone go:

“WTF is that smell?”

“What is in this?”

“Did a witch make this?”

I’m chasing a very specific vibe:

Not just sexy.

Not just elegant.

Not just dark.

More like the aura of a divine or mythic entity...something transcendent, otherworldly, mystical, mysteriously seductive, almost non-human.

The closest emotional reference I can think of is something like the song of the sirens: not simple admiration, but a strange mix of fascination, attraction, mystery, danger, temptation, slight discomfort, and total enchantment.

Basically, I want a fragrance that smells so unreal and mesmerizing that if I told someone:

“This wasn’t made by humans. It was created by some mythic race of seductive supernatural beings.”

…they might actually believe me.

Important note: I’m not looking for fragrances that lean into grandma/vintage cosmetics/powdery/ lipstick/old-fashioned floral territory.

I want to avoid anything that feels dusty, retro, or “classic classy” in that way.

Bonus if it feels especially perfect for spring and summer nights out.

So, what fragrances genuinely made you think, “what the hell is this… this is incredible”?

Especially interested in recommendations from people who are very deep into niche and have smelled a lot.
