Best inexpensive work backpack

I’m one of THE WORST manybaggers ever. I’d hate to add up the cost of searching for the Holy Grail of messengers and backpacks over the last 10 years. I basically have to carry my entire setup whenever I go to the office, so it’s a lot and bulky. I’ve had Tumis, Coach, Aer, Everlane, and on and on the list goes. This week, I bought a $30 black military tactical bag, and I may never look back. EVERYTHING fits without bulk, it's balanced, and doesn’t feel heavy even though it is when full. I’m embarrassed about the waste I’ve created over the years, but this thing rocks. It looks like every tactical bag out there, but I’ve learned a costly lesson that high-end bags aren’t always the answer. /story

EDIT: This is the bag. It's less tactical than most, so my guess is it isn't made for rugged use; Just general EDC and office. I loaded the crap out of it yesterday. As I said, I basically have to pack up my entire setup (minus desk and chair) and haul it to the office. I took the patch off. I probably should have titled the post "Best inexpensive work backpack for me." I was going for utility, not polished aesthetic. I get that this is not a style everyone enjoys.

Now I feel a little less guilty.
