We’re going from Sanremo to Menton for 5 days then to Monte Carlo, Nice and Cannes.

We won’t have a car in Sanremo, so what’s the best way to go to Menton? We have a family of 4 traveling with one being an elderly and one an infant. Train sounds the cheapest way (maybe best?) but it has a transfer so not sure how hard/easy it is with several large bags and stroller.

Would anyone recommend a taxi? Is it possible to get a taxi to travel the border to Menton? How much would the taxi cost? We plan to rent a car from Monte Carlo later. Appreciate any advice!
