Cardiac docs took me off last Fibro med (Savella) due to serious cardiac issues. Which meant- no further Fibro med alternatives to me, due to terrible side effects.

Took a few days for Savella to wear off and holy smokes (!!!) astronomical pain levels. Could not function without crying.

Wondered what our ancestors did for pain and came across an article that said Chaga tea (made from mushrooms).

ALL teas have side effects. Herbal teas can have serious side effects. Be sure to read the side effects of drinking Chaga.

Decided, for me, it was worth a try. Purchased a specific brand and used 3/4 teaspoon. (If I'm in a hurry and can't get the whole cup down, let the cup go cold and take it with me sipping throughout the day. )

Within half hour, I could feel pain going away. At two hours the pain was gone. Gone. Drink one cup of tea each morning and able to function through the day.

Decided to try an experiment and not drink the tea. Pain level- 10, was back. So it doesn't kill whatever causes Fibro pain. But it does allow me to function. (And I'm driving now. Couldn't do that before.)

Bitter taste (kind of like drinking wood bark), but I'm getting used to it.

Off to yet another doctor appointment. Hope this helps someone else. Will check in later.

Signed- me.
