Hi,

We're a small 4-person startup in a managed building in Shoreditch and we've got 6+ months left on our contract. Long story short, we need to move on but obviously can't just eat the remaining cost.

I've heard of startups effectively swapping office space, you find another small team who wants yours, you take theirs (or just hand it over and walk). Curious if anyone here has actually done this and what the process looked like:

• Did you go through the managed office provider, or sort it directly between teams?
• Did the building need to approve the swap / re-paper the contract?
• Where did you find the other team? LinkedIn, Slack groups, a specific site?
• Any pitfalls?
