Hello,

I'm currently looking for a 996 Cab manual. I'm open on color and years but prefer 996.1, having a hard top, and a 1999. I am open to high miles up to say 160k.

I found a 2001 with just under 100k. It has a hard top. Only issue is convertible top is leaking and has no fluid. We are talking about $17k - thoughts on if this is a good deal? I'm looking into PPI options to see if there's any other issues. I do a lot of mechanical work myself so I am not too scared about taking on fixing it myself but since I'm relatively new to my 996 search I want to know how good a deal this could be or if I should pass and wait. Thanks!
