I am studying sourcing workflows and trying to understand how agency recruiters actually debug LinkedIn Recruiter searches, especially for niche, technical, or senior roles.

When the first search returns noisy or irrelevant candidates, what do you usually do next?

Do you:

- rewrite the Boolean?

- separate must-have vs nice-to-have keywords?

- inspect false positives and false negatives?

- search by target companies?

- clone strong profiles?

- ask the hiring manager sharper calibration questions?

- use tools like SeekOut, HireEZ, Juicebox, Pin, or something else?

I am especially curious about the repeatable parts of the process. What feels like real skill/judgment, and what feels like repetitive search cleanup?

Not promoting anything here. I am trying to learn the workflow from people who do this every day.
