Chris Chalk as Black Lighting for the DCU

Chris Chalk: 48, It welcome to Derry, 5'10

If they want a bit of an older option I think he would do a great job, he has a must Thai background, he's worked extensively with Warner/ HBO in the past and I think he would add this nice True detective Vibe to the character.

GCPD Fancast for the DCU

I selected my Fancast's based off Age Range, Acting ability & Likeness to Comic book version's ( more particularly their likeness to Chuck Dixon's, Grant Morrison's Take on the character's)

Sam Rockwell I recommend seeing in JOJO Rabbit where he plays a drunk Army commander, he's at the threshold for my age range but he's great and is Oscar nominated but a realistic option.

For Nick Offerman watch him in Parcs & Rec he is hilarious and would bring a great sense of humour to Bullock to soften the feel of the darker DCU batman Gunn is going for.

for Monica Raymond I thought she would be a solid Budget option, I would recommend watching her guest appearance in " On call" she fits the role and looks the part.

For Sophia Lillis I think she's the realistic choice, She's Beloved by Andy Muschietti the Director of TBATB and has done action, I think this is a fancast where she would be great at Batgirl but also Oracle. I would recommend watching her in IT welcome to derry or Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves.

Greg Mottola is rumored to Direct Deathstroke & Bane, would he be a good director? Here's my analysis

Source: Deadline

So Deadline a very reliable source who I believe are Teir 1 journalists are linking greg mottola to Death stroke & Bane an untitled DCU project that people are speculating is Sinister 6.

Now let me analyse if he would be good, Greg mollota is an award winning short film director who won the best short film category at the Chicago film festival in 1988.

He's most famous for Super bad with Micheal cera, he also directed 2 episodes of peace maker season 2. So we know he can work with Gunn which is important.

Greg is a long term Sci fi fan who's attended conventions and reads comics, as for what he would bring I think he would add reliability and stability to the project whilst allowing the Sense of humour to work as bets as possible.

He's also very good at scouting talent so expect some newer actors to likely come into the fold. Now is his style Compatible with the writer and creator of the project matthew orton?

Well matthew orton wrote an episode of moon Knight ( episode 5) which was good and it seems to me that there styles would likely align.

Overall I think Greg is a very surprising and somewhat unconventional option due to his background but I can't find any faults with it. He's just in the running right now with other directors but I would say this is an excellent choice which would also benefit his career along with Pete saffron and James Gunn.

Everyone's been theorising and I think we need to be realistic here, it's probably like an inspector Henderson character

michael stuhlbarg: 57, a serious man, 5'6

He's a great actor I feel he would portray the timidness of ventriloquist well,

He's an Emmy nominated actor and almost wona. Golden globe check him out in a serious man

I'm reading Superman Vs the Klan after a watching an episode of the George reeves superman TV show and just listening to the theme and OML I didn't realise just how good this theme was.

I've never heard a theme this good from a modern superhero movie the only one I can think of that can compare is the one from " The Batman" 2022 track

MONTANA JORDAN: 23, Young Sheldon, 5'9

Here me out, I've seen a couple people suggest it and it was well received, if they got his hair to a more sandy colour I think it could work well as a more traditional 20th century wally.

He also seems like somebody who could of been in the 90s flash show if he was born earlier but I geuinly think he could be great.

I feel he's at a perfect age if they want someone a bit older, he's fairly atheitic and his character George on young Sheldon is very wally west coded
