I keep noticing this pattern:
Two products can be almost identical…
but one looks premium and the other looks cheap.
And most of the time it has nothing to do with the product itself.
From what I’ve seen, it usually comes down to:
- starting too wide (no clear focus)
- no strong “first impression” (nothing that catches the eye instantly)
- lighting that doesn’t highlight the best detail
- trying to show everything instead of one main thing
When a photo or video doesn’t guide the eye in the first second,
people just scroll.
A simple fix that works surprisingly well:
start closer than you think.
Pick ONE detail that looks the best, show that first,
then reveal the rest.
