Kronos V

Full transparency, there are tons of websites selling Kronos V gold & characters already. I purchased 5k gold and a max level character. Thought it was a scam, but sure enough I have a level 60 character now. I logged on, could not find myself on /who, and /played is literally 0 seconds.

So either the rollback did not fully work and gold sellers successfully stashed away characters, or the Kronos team is selling this stuff. I assume because the character is not displaying in /who, this is some staff fuckery.

So not only does MiY shapeshift, and is clearly recognizable to Victor (meaning he's done this in the past), we know that there have been complete massacres of all survivors (with the exception of Victor). But, we don't know HOW it happened. And we know Victor's memories are also scrambled like eggs, it is the one thing he completely refuses to talk about (*what happened?*)

In S1, Jim or someone says I think whatever this is, is feeding off our fear & paranoia. Bingo. We know MiY has infiltrated the survivor group multiple times, has direct knowledge about the talismans. Just like the Creatures, they could easily kill everyone if they really wanted to. So why don't they? Because they are feeding off that fear & paranoia, nothing else. The Creatures completely massacre survivors, invoking absolute fear in survivors. MiY toys with them constantly. He could do something about the talisman's, but doesn't. He is fine with them hunting for a solution or having hope, just not too much. Pay attention to the people who begin to hear voices, become targeted. They are all people at some point showed they aren't afraid, that they want to use that conviction to escape. The people who do not show fear are the ones that are the real targets.

The MiY doesn't want to kill everyone, he wants to accelerate that fear and paranoia until they all kill each other. That is the theory, back when Victor was a child and everyone died, they all killed each other. This iteration of survivors are going to figure out there are shapeshifters amongst them, and they are going to go crazy. The only hope is that the children are saved, likely the victims of the first time the MiY manipulated survivors (to kill all their kids). Maybe that will break a cycle, it does seem key to everything.

But I'm fully convinced at this point with MiY abilities he could kill any/all of them whenever he wants. That isn't his goal. The power of this place is dependent on the cycle of fear and paranoia. I've seen so many criticisms like "why dont survivors just write down everything that happened to them" etc. It is obvious at this point if all previous survivors get massacred, the MiY can "reset" any iteration, remove evidence, etc. He can curate the entirety of the town. The only exception is Victor, who seems acutely aware of who he is, and knows that everyone is going to die, which is why he stays distant to basically everyone.
