Hey guys I’ll be an incoming GPST to Salford from August. I’ve never lived in Manchester itself so have very little knowledge about the city except for what I’ve read on here.
I’ll be moving with my partner who’ll be working in Ashton which is in the East and my hospital rotations will be at Salford Royal and I’ve required Trafford ideally for GP.
Just looking for advice on where to look for a rental. Didsbury and Chorlton have come up here a lot and I’ve looked but it’s like a 30-40min commute for us both. I checked on Gemini and it suggested Prestwich as the ‘didsbury of the north’.
Anyone have any more information or advice on living places or do I just suck up the commute?
