My guess is once he heals his essence and body he will probably do what he did to find [Bone Weave] and use [Weaver’s Mask].

I distinctly remember when he was falling into the Sky Below he used [Weaver’s Mask] to help guide him to a safe spot. What he saw was a 2 strings, one golden one pointing to a direction in the sky below ([Bone Weave]) and another was white flame colored pointing towards Nephis past the hollow mountains.

Other than that maybe he will find Guiding Light so he can point it towards the direction of Changing Star. This will also be useful to find Neph’s mom because they will be able to lock it in to Smile of Heaven

Just like the title asks, is VTB a fraud or just unlucky / nerfed in general? This post is just showing the different explanations and reasonings of both sides really.

1. Sunny said in earlier chapters that VTB stole the mentality of a Titan and that somewhere out there there might be a Titan that thinks it’s a Terror. Titans are described as:

“ Aloof, solitary beings existing in a world of their own, and although they lacked the vast influence of Terrors or the armies of Tyrants, they were by no means weaker “

While it describes Terrors as this:

“Unique beings that shared the trait of influencing the world and spreading their presence, making them more like dreadful phenomena than singular creatures. This escalating nature of their influence made them particularly dangerous”

So an explanation as to why VTB seems so distant or uninvolved in this fight just might be because it thinks its a Titan.

2. VTB is a nightmare creature so it’s already demented and crazy but after looking into Weaver’s eye it went insane. This could also explain why it’s so stupid despite being a high class.

3. Sunny has no “shiny things” for VTB to steal from him so it seems uninterested.

All are good reasons but there are also some contradictions in my opinion that doesn’t make sense.

A) VTB wields the concept of thievery and as such is able to steal many different things. But thievery doesn’t just mean stealing but also sneaking or suppressing your presence. It’s probably why the Gods and unknown wasn’t able to obliterate it the moment it came close and why it was able to make it pass the Guardian of the Tomb in the Third Nightmare and steal Weaver’s eye (weaver probably planned it stealing their eye but I digress).

So Sunny somehow sensing it coming for the first time doesn’t make sense whatsoever considering when he first met it in the Tomb he didn’t realize it was there.

B) It being nerfed by shadow bond doesn’t really make sense since it’s not Lost from Light and already has its true name. Also it is not a shadow/shadow creature, it doesn’t have to follow the innate ability [Shadow Bond]

C) It is said that VTB was uninterested in Sunny but the moment Sunny pretended to be Weaver the bird just became obsessed and went after Sunny but now in the fight it just running away? It doesn’t really make sense in my opinion.

So this fight has been really off and on for me but overall compared to the fight with Nightmare and Winter Beast it’s kinda… ok.

What do u guys think? Also please correct me if I’m wrong in any of the info I just presented.
