I had a white G6 PTZ camera delivered the other week.
Very impressed with the smooth pan, tilt and zoom. However, it seems to be lacking a lot of functions, almost as if Ubiquiti has deliberately dumbed down this camera.
The two way talk works really well (compared to other brands). I have been told my voice comes through the speaker very loud. So, then I go to configure the siren / play audio for a smart detection event via the Alarm Manager only to find I cannot select the G6 PTZ as an audio output device. It looks like I have to fork out more money for the AI Horn.
This is just bat sh!t crazy. The G6 PTZ has a perfectly capable built-in speaker for audio playback / siren.
Also, line crossing and other perimeter protection features seem to be completely missing under smart zone / detections. I am not sure if this is because the G6 PTZ is currently mounted upside down in indoor mode.
