In Josh Strife Hayes's 3 hour long review of Expedition 33, he proposes a decent theory for where the Canvas got hidden from Aline.

When Clea and Alica are discussing hiding the canvas Alicia is talking, something that she cannot do in the real world. This implies that she is inside A canvas, but she has yet to enter THE canvas. When she talks to Lune about painting the outside world so Lune can see it, she sounds really sure that a canvas can be brought into another. In the real world manor we see a wall of Alicia art, and the smallest and least noticeable of them is a painting of the manor itself.

The implication there is that they hid the Canvas inside Alicia's painting of the manor. Which means when we step through those random doors that many residents of the canvas cannot enter, we very well might be walking around in Alicia's painting, and the canvas in the study is the actual Canvas.

After explaining all that, my question is, would that mean that if Lune stopped sitting on the ground and really hoofed it to one of those manor doors, could she escape the canvas shutting down by going to the manor?
