I have had an issue with my monitor for as long as I can remember and never got around to correcting it, so I am looking for some advice. Specifically it has to do with certain colours, usually oranges, while watching videos on my monitor.
I have an ASUS MG279 running at 2560x1440 at 144Hz in colour format RGB and colour space SDR. My second monitor is a ThinkVision T22v-10 running at 1920x1080 at 60Hz in colour format RGB and colour space SDR. My graphics card is a Radeon RX 6950 XT which I don't think has anything to do with the issue as it used to happen on my older NVidia GTX1060.
Here are 2 pictures I took with my phone as doing a screen capture does not reproduce the issue:
In the ASUS picture you can see the there is something happening with the colours. I lack the knowledge to describe it properly so I don't know what to call it. In the ThinkVision picture you can see the difference which should clarify what is happening. I can try to take a video to capture the issue more clearly if need be.
If anyone knows what is happening, what this is called, or how I can correct it, please let me know! It would be a great help!
