Hi everyone. I tried searching this sub for similar posts but couldn’t quite find one that addresses the challenges we’re having. Our baby will be 9 months in a few days, and his sleep has been all out of whack. We do suspect it’s from teething + separation anxiety.

He’s been on 2 naps since he was about 7.5 months. Usually each nap is 1 hr-1 hr15 minutes. His naps are drastically affected by teething. This is important to note because he recently got 2 top teeth and 2 more are coming through.

He’s been waking up from at least 1 nap of the day screaming, crying after one sleep cycle (35-40 minutes). Usually I strap him into the carrier and get him back to sleep for another 30 or so minutes.

We have been trying to do set nap times (give or take 15 minutes), because our baby was on a pretty consistent wake up time of 6:30 AM. This will continue to be our DWT.

WW 1: 3.5 (nap 1 is around 10 AM)
WW 2: 3.5 (nap 2 is around 2:30 PM)
WW 3: 4

Bedtime: 7:45-8 PM

I go back to work full time next month. My husband and I think I need to stop extending a nap in the carrier and do a 15 minute bridge nap if needed. If the second nap of the day is a crap nap, do we make bedtime earlier and by how much?

Any tips for if this is just a regression because of teething & separation anxiety? Is it a schedule issue?

Not sure if I left out any other relevant info. TIA!
